Taylor's of Pickering have been serving the people of Ryedale since 1969. As well as a grocery shop and fishmongers situated at the top of Pickering Market Place, Taylor's of Pickering supply wholesale produce from the warehouse at the rear of the building to restaurants and hotels all over the Ryedale area.
Started by husband and wife Les and Joan Taylor in 1969, the retail shop quickly grew to accommodate the need for wholesale. Keith joined the business straight out of school in 1974 and began learning the trade from his parents. Keith's brother Peter has worked in the family business for over 25 years and Joan still runs the grocery shop.
Keith's sons Liam and Lucas, are the third generation of Taylors to currently work in the business so it is a real family affair.
